An artist to film editor, Francisco Rodriguez, also known as “Franky Scissor Hands” was a graduate of Henry Snyder High School’s Media Arts high Tech Program, where he was introduced to the inspiring world of TV production and learned not only movie editing but also graphic design and videography.

Francisco has always had an eye for visual arts and has fused his artistic talent with the video production skills to help run the only Municipal Channel Jersey City, JC1TV.

Along with two his former classmates and through the mentorship of Communications Director Stan Eason, Francisco has contributed in improving the delivery of broadcast coverage of current and community events.

Francisco has help create some well-received documentaries in the community, such as "Mayor Glenn D. Cunningham:His Life" and "Discover Jersey City“ a creative mini documentary on the history and future on Jersey City. He along side with classmates Direct, shoot, and edited one his proudest work “ Speak Up” an Anti-Violence Public Service Announcement.

Francisco intends to use his talent to further expand his accomplishments and who knows, perhaps create a Hollywood blockbuster.
